Epidemiology

Students will take on the role of an epidemiologist working with the World Health Organization (WHO). Using Web-based GIS, students will examine data and predict the potential for an epidemic outbreak of cholera and malaria. Then students will create a persuasive presentation using PowerPoint and GIS data to share their findings and make recommendations to avert an epidemic.
