Modules
A major component of the MAPS-GIS project is the creation and dissemination of Web-based learning modules that use GIS to teach a variety of geospatial concepts across the curriculum. The modules require an internet browser and DLS or cable connection. While slower connection speeds (such as dial-up) do work, the experience is much more enjoyable on a faster connection.
